This week's charity of choice is White Chapel Mission who has been helping the homeless in London since 1876. Acting as a sanctuary for those in need, the White Chapel Mission aim to meet the immediate needs of those who walk through the door whether that be food, shelter, clothing, and medical care.
We caught up with the team at White Chapel Mission on what the charity is doing and how they've kept going, even through a global pandemic.
This week's charity of choice is South African based organisation Surfers Not Street Children whose model fuses surfing, mentorship and care. The Organisation has dedicated local teams that include social workers, carers, lifeguards, surf coaches and administrators. We caught up with Tom Hewitt MBE, Founder & Global CEO on what the charity is doing to help the children of the streets, and what the Buy One Give One initiative will do to support.
It’s time for us to acknowledge the people around us. The everyday folk who blend into the tapestry of our day, yet silently and bravely they work to support the community get back on its feet.
To tackle the working from home boredom, we’re partnering with some of our most creative communities to bring you a number of online experiences, workshops, videos that will help pass the time, expand your knowledge or teach you a new skill.
We are super excited to announce a new partnership with Centrepoint, the UK's leading youth homelessness charity.
The charity, which provides accommodation and support to homeless people aged 16-25 is supported by Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, who has been a patron of the organisation since 2005.
